The theological stance of ZCTS is evangelical but interdenominational in service. Though faculty, staff, students are not required to abide by ZCTS state of faith, they are expected to be in agree with them.
ZCTS’ doctrinal statements of faith are as follows:
- We believe in God, the Father almighty, creator of heaven and earth.
- We believe in Jesus Christ, God’s only Son, our Lord, who was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died, and was buried. On the third day he rose again; he ascended into heaven, he is seated at the right hand of the Father, and he will come to judge the living and the dead.
- We believe in the Holy Spirit, fully divine, convicts mankind of sin and reveals righteousness through the Word. Holy Spirit enlightens, equips, and empowers the believer to be salt and light to the world.
- We believe in One, Holy, Universal Church, and the fellowship of believers.
- We believe in the fall of mankind and thus needs the forgiveness of sin through confession of sin and faith in the Lord Jesus Christ.
- We believe in the resurrection of the body, and the life everlasting.
